Description


This is the very first edition of this box set, complete with the Nico Immediate 45 and ALL the booklets, inserts, etc. It has an unpeeled banana sticker and metallic gold lettering on the embossed cover. This copy has not been played and has been stored in a plastic sleeve since bought new in 1982. The following information is from "The Velvet Underground Web Page" -

"This 3-LP set comes in a 12x12 inch box set with banana sticker. There are copies with red letters on the box, some with silver letters, and other with gold. Some 'Deluxe' (?) copies came with a c0unterfeit of Nico's first 45 (on Immediate label). Also, some box sets came with two xerox booklets: Souvenir of Discography (compilation of Velvet Underground press articles) and Buried Treasure! (originally published in What Goes On #2). Foggy Notion is listed as first track of side 4 but actually not included. Later copies came with a silkscreened gold banana and white letters and no "extras".

Shipping Terms

DOMESTIC shipping is to be paid by the winning bidder and will include Delivery Confirmation. A flat rate of $4.00 is charged for shipping via USPS Media Mail. For each additional LP please add $0.50 and for each additional Double LP please add $1.00. See above for the cost to ship via USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is optional and RECOMMENDED. Multiple item purchases will be combined for a substantial savings in shipping charges.

INTERNATIONAL bidders please use the calculator below to find shipping cost to your country. Just enter your country in the drop down box and click the "update" button. You may also contact us for shipping charges to your locale. International Postage rates were raised quite a bit in May '07 by the US Postal Service. There is a handling charge for all international shipments due to the extra work (boxes, customs forms) required.
