Velvet Underground - Loaded (Atlantic UK 1972)
While more conventional than their first 3 LPs, I find myself going back to this one more than some of their others, as not only does it have some absolute classic VU tracks, but it is more palatable as a whole than some of their earlier ones. I have to be in a particular mood to get through Murder Mystery, The Gift or Sister Ray to be honest, whereas this one is very listenable all through.
This is an early UK pressing on the orange/green Atlantic labels and is a very decent copy.
Record/ Sleeve Grading
Sleeve sleeve has some light general wear and slight splitting to spine, VG
Record has a few superficial marks, but plays near perfect, VG++
Gradings Used
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
