Description

VELVET UNDERGROUND "Velvet Underground & Nico" LP, 1967, Verve V6-5008.  Judging by the matrix on the vinyl, I believe this is an original STEREO version of the first pressing of this album.  It is a gatefold with peelable banana sticker, however the back cover does NOT have the double image of another person superimposed over Lou's head in the projection, indicating it is likely the third version of this early edition.  Confusing, I know - check discogs for further illumination on this point.  Cover is in VG+ condition overall - banana is intact, except a tear at the top where the stem may have been removed.  Still, very good front cover of this pressing - no ringwear, corner dings, etc.  Back cover has some ringwear and previous owner's name in pen.  Vinyl is in VG++/EX condition- really clean!  Matrix numbers = Side 1: V6-5008 Side 1 MGS-558-REV Side 2: V6-5008 Side 2 MGS-559.  I have many other Garage/Punk/Indie albums from the '70's-'90's going up in the coming days and weeks, so stay posted! Will gladly upgrade/combine shipping - just add an extra dollar for each additional LP!
