Very Rare Copy of The Velvet Underground and Nico's debut LP (also known as Andy Warhol)
Original Stereo Japanese LP on Verve. MV 2060. A lot of people have been bidding on later Japanese issues, this is the real deal original issue for Japan.
Features the original unpeeled banana and Japanese insert with lyrics and notes in Japanese and English.
This vinyl was purchased and listened to ONCE by myself in order to give a proper grading of the records. The previous owner took very good care of this record, and is obviously not only very hard to find in this condition, but very hard to find period.
I am a record collector and I grade vinyl very strictly (I do not follow any particular grading scale except my own).
This was listened to in Stereo on a Technics Direct Drive Automatic SL-D500 player using a high-end Stanton stylus.
The vinyl jacket is in incredible condition with a extremely little jacket wear. The insert is in perfect condition with no wrinkles, marks, or folds.
The record itself has no visible marks, plays perfectly and sounds remarkable. I never consider a record to be mint if is opened in any way, but this is about as close as it gets.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COPY OF THIS THAT IS IN SUCH TOP CONDITION.
