Description
The recording is by Solti, conducting the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Included are excerpts from La Traviata, Semiramide, Tales of hoffman, L'Italiana in Algeri and La Gioconda.
The condition of this record is excellent. I have not had the record cleaned but it played very well. Immediate sound and a superior recording. The owner took care of his records, always keeping them safe. The record really looks like it's hardly been played. No scratches that I can feel, and only a couple of very very minor scratches and scuffs when inspected under a naked bulb! Only the very very lightest of spindle marks on the labels, which look fresh. The cover is bright and unmarked on the front but there are traces of a label and a number label at the back at the top right hand corner. There is also a neat label on the spine with the words Orchestral Recital Cond. Solti neatly typed thereon.
The record is posted surface mail at a nominal charge of only $12 ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!!. I can airmail records if you prefer, which takes about 2 weeks anywhere in the world. The cost of airmailing is $24. If you win more than one item the charge for airmail is $9 per additional record worldwide. I charge the SAME RATE FOR ANY COUNTRY, ie a flat rate to USA, Europe, Asia, or anywhere else, with no exceptions. Registration and insurance can be provided if available to your country and subject to actual Post Office cost of $3.50. Please ignore the ebay rate of postage as they make no allowance for overseas sellers. I will send you an invoice when the auction closes.
My records are packed carefully using proper boxing with thick card and bubble wrap for added protection.
