Description

Vera Lynn We Meet Again 1965 BBC Transcription Service 12" Vinyl Battle Britain

Cat #  - 114335 114337
Sleeve has some signs light wear but is great for age.
Vinyl has some very light marks but plays well without jumping. Plays with some light crackle but records of this length often would have done this from new.
I can't find this record on Discogs but the catalogue number dates it at 1965.  However there's an expiry date of 1973 printed on label
The Battle of Britain - Duration 59 mins Compiled by Chester Wilmott Spoken documentary narrated by Leo Genn
We meet again 55 mins  Introduced by Vera Lynn Narration and wartime songs including the white cliffs of Dover
The running times are taken from the record. I didn't time it when listening.  The label says 1 of 2 on both sides so the running time may only be half of this.
These were intended for radio broadcast and were originally only made available to overseas radio stations

Please check my other auctions as I have loads of other items for sale.

I'm always happy to bundle postage where appropriate and local collection is available.
