The Verve. Rare, Limited Edition Original 1998 UK 4x12” Singles complete set in Exclusive Mailer Sleeve. 1998 Hut Recordings. Made in the United Kingdom. Out Of Print.
This mailer as originally released only contained the 12" of "Sonnet" HUTTX100. The other Singles “Bittersweet Symphony” HUTT82, “The Drugs Don’t Work” HUTT 88, and “Lucky Man” HUTT 92 were sold separately and meant to be housed together inside the Mailer once all of them were collected. Listed here is the complete set containing all four of the 12” Singles. Each Single has its original arwork sleeve, with its unique Cat# and barcode.
NEW, NEVER PLAYED. I am the original owner and bought this brand new. I have never played the vinyl and it has been safely stored in a smoke-free environment since 1998! It’s as new as the day I purchased it.
PICTURE SLEEVES: As new. No seam-splits, rips, tears, or creases. Crisp corners. These sleeves were made of really thin paper and easily prone to damage. Even when brand new, it was very hard to find sleeves that weren’t already damaged due to their fragile construction (mainly with tears, seam-splits and large creases). All of the sleeves here are pretty much mint, however, and are as perfect as you are ever likely to find. The vinyl has been removed from these picture sleeves and stored separately in high-quality poly lined sleeves to preserve the condition. See pics.
MAILER SLEEVE: Constructed of heavy-duty cardboard. Like new. No seam-splits, rips or tears. Crisp corners with a very minor crinkle to the bottom-left corner. Very small, thin, hairline creasing to a portion of the flap. See pics.
VINYL: NEW UNPLAYED. Beautiful, rich, deep black, silky sheen. If you were to tilt the vinyl at an angle against direct sunlight and catch the light just right, some wispy hairline marks and very faint sleeve “rub” marks become barely noticeable. These marks are superficial and are the result of the new vinyl rubbing up against the inside of the harsh interior of the paper picture sleeves the way they were packaged. These marks are otherwise unnoticeable under regular room light conditions, however. For an example, please see the last picture collage #11 where the left-side picture shows a mark taken under direct sunlight at an angle and then the right-side picture of the exact same spot on the vinyl taken under normal room light where the same mark is invisible. The vinyl has been removed from the picture sleeves and stored separately in high-quality poly lined sleeves to preserve the condition. See pics.
