Description
This item consists of three 12” x 78rpm phonograph records:
· An Evening with the Minstrels / No. 1 / Ethiopian Carnival of Melody. De Luxe Record # 31129, V to V+ condition (clean label; light groove wear; no scuffs; one thin, inaudible hair scratch; one tiny needle dig, 5 grvs, light pops, plays through.) This is a one-sided disc.
· An Evening with the Minstrels / No. 3 / End Song “Chimes of de Golden Bells.” De Luxe Record # 31193, V condition (clean wax and label; light to moderate groove wear.) This is a one-sided disc.
· Victor Minstrel Company: New Orleans Minstrels [At a Georgia Campmeeting – All I Wants is My Black Baby Back – On Emancipation Day]. Victor (batwing) 35280, E condition (negligible wear, high gloss, clean label; tiny ecnap and small inaudible surface scratch.) This is a two-sided disc; reverse is titled Unlucky Mose, a “Darky” Specialty by Golden and Hughes in E+ condition with no visible flaws.
These records were found in a storage book and do NOT have sleeves.
