Description
The Tears 45rpm record "Rat Race" b/w "People Through My Glasses". RARE 1968 original Fuzzed Psych-Out from Sacramento, California. Members: Robert (R.T.) Salazar, Richard Salazar, Jim Brackett, Eddie Guillerme. Produced by: Paul Rose. White label promo Onyx Records 2201, issued 1968. Both sides were recorded in 1967 at Fantasy Records Studios, San Francisco, and slated for release on Scorpio Records at the tail end of 1967, but plans were shelved when the label was sold. Record labels are clean except for a small light red marking by the title Rat Race, see photo. Record still retains a fair amount of its original luster, with numerous non-feelable light surface scratches and one scuff mark, see photo.
