VERY VERY RARE Beatles box set. The Beatles Story (The Authentic B.B.C. Production 13 vinyl Picture Disc Box Set). ONLY 150 OF THESE WERE PRINTED. This is #8/150.Each record has one side that is unique to that disc. The other side displays Wavelength in different colors and list the title of the chapter. I included pictures of 6 of the discs they are all really neat and unique. In 1972 BBC produced a radio show in 13 parts to be broadcast in the U.S. A very entertaining show it covered the entire history of the Beatles from their individual beginnings to the break up of the band. As it was produced by B.B.C. it had an authenticity to it, lacking in other productions. You may check out the sets history at www.rarebeatles. to  understand the nature of this set. The set comes in a leather bound album. It is in near mint shape (2 light scuffs on the edges). The album set contains 13 pockets 1 for each LP, the pockets despict the same likeness as the picture disc LP. These lp's have NEVER been played. This set comes from my personnel collection I purchased it when it was originally released. It is my belief that picture discs are not to be played but more of a collectible. This set also comes with a 52 page booklet of the transcripts of the broadcast and photos of Lennon.
