Description
I recently acquired some interesting 1920s blues and country 78s and am going to list three tonight for sale. This one is:
Victor V-40236 both sides performed by BLIND ADFRED REED -- Titles are:
(a) How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live (b) Money Cravin' Folks
The disc was found in a large stack of discs at an estate sale and has no doubt been subject to a sleeveless existence for many years. The disc shows some groove wear and does have some light scratches and scuffs. It does play very well on both sides with modern equipment with no skips or stressed grooves. Two small edge flakes that do not come even close to the playing area of the disc. I'm not an expert but do feel the record does deserve the V+ grade.
