Victor Pre-Dog Monarch #3252
This is take 1 of this title which was recorded on April 5, 1901 and retired on May 22, 1901 after pressing 159 copies. The record has a rough start and it's share of scuffs and scratches that would be expected on a disc of this vintage. There are no chips, cracks, pits or other damage that will cause a hung groove. A number of dirt spots are on the surface, and the record would probably be upgraded by a simple cleaning. There is a needle run on the label, but it does not damage any of the text. The record is quite playable, and the sound is very straightforward as is common on these very early Victors. Expect the condition to be "average for it's age", and you won't be disappointed.
