Description
*The first picture is a scan, it gave me the most clarity.
Victor Record 'Descriptive Selection Sheridan's Ride by Sousa's Band 1203'. 7 inch, one-sided, 78 rpm. The original recording for the 7 inch disc was in 1902.
This has the scrolling text underneath the dog that reads 'Victor Talking Machine Co' and Camden NJ. It is hand etched 1203 above the label on the disc (before the grooves). There is also a scratching over the label 1-8-02, but I don't know if this is an accurate indication of the date 1902, or something else.
THIS IS IN GREAT SHAPE. I have no means to test this, the Victrola I have is broken, BUT I GUARANTEE IT WILL PLAY. The grooves are well-defined and there's some light cosmetic scratches, but not many at all. I'm sure it will play in the typical fashion of these records.
I'm listing several other similar 7 inch discs all simultaneously. This same disc sold for $40 recently.
