Well how about this! The 1950 release of the sountrack album to Cecil B. deMille's 1949 epic film SAMSON AND DELILAH.
A vinyl LP issue from the earliest days of long-playing recordings makes this a rare collectors item - interesting from the perspective of recorded music history as well as the music itself conducted by one of Hollywood's most significant composers.
The original 10" Brunswick LP - rare rare indeed - issue with the composer Victor Young conducting The Paramount Symphony Orchestra. Side 1 - 5 tracks Side 2 - 7 tracks.
As this will be out of copyright I can supply a reference CD transfer with the LP sale if required - please contact me.
Disc - near mint condition - incredible for an LP 66 years old! Cover, rather worn, and has been taped together way back in the past - please look at the photos carefully.
