Victor/Vocalion Race Record Sleeves--Late 20s-Early 30s

Two original late 1920s-early 1930s "race record" sleeves for 78 rpm records, as follows:

[1] Victor, brown paper with blue printed Art Deco silhouette design featuring various types of black artists, from blues groups to orchestras and Gospel/spoken word to comedy. Several artists and their recordings are listed on back, to include Kansas City Blues [Memphis Jug Band], Cocaine Blues [Luke Jordan], and Wolverine Blues [Jelly Roll Morton]. Dates prior to summer of 1929 as it still has the Victor Talking Machine Company designation [no RCA]. Edges are worn and creased with the usual minor cuts at edges but can probably be pressed out for a much better appearance. Paper is still very flexible.

[2] Vocalion, brown paper with black printed female singer and seated male guitar player and very prominent RACE RECORDS designation. Artists and recordings listed on back include It's Tight Like That [Tampa Red and Georgia Tom], Rollin' Down To Jordan [Bessemer Sunset Four], Pine Top Blues [Pine Top Smith], and Four Or Five Times [Jimmie Noone's Apex Club Orchestra]. Paper is very brittle and tattered on edges. Several different record numbers written in pencil on upper right corner.

Despite the wear, sleeves would still be a great companion item for any "race" record from the period, especially if you're fortunate enough to have any of the titles listed on the back. Sleeves are in Fair condition and one price gets both! Any questions please feel free to ask.
