Description
1957 TEXAS A&M — MUSIC FROM AGGIELAND
Original vintage 45 RPM 2-record set featuring music and traditions of Texas A&M College.
This set, titled “Music From Aggieland,” features performances by:
• Texas Aggie Band • Singing Cadets • Aggieland Orchestra • Aggie Yell Practice
The album was released in 1957, with its world premiere held at Texas A&M's Guion Hall in May 1957. Contemporary Texas A&M newspaper coverage describes it as a new 45-rpm extended-play album featuring the Aggie Band, Singing Cadets and Aggieland Orchestra.
This is the original vintage 2-record set, not a later reissue.
CONDITION: This copy has a particularly nice original cover for its age. The two 45 RPM records are also in very good condition, with clean surfaces and showing considerably less wear than the cover normally found with vintage sets of this age.
Please examine all photographs carefully. The records pictured are the actual records you will receive.
A great piece of Texas A&M / Aggie history and memorabilia, particularly for an Aggie, former student, collector of Texas history, or vintage record collector.
2 records + original album cover.
