Description
To start off, let me just state that the records I will be listing are from my own record collection in my home that I have had for many years. We are in the process of a retirement move and starting to clear out years worth of items. For that reason, I'm not a record expert or a collector of any kind so I'm not really qualified to be totally an expert on how to grade these types of vinyl records. I would consider this record "MINT" since it has never been PLAYED or removed from original packaging
Here's my best description based on my limited knowledge:
12" Vinyl Album - DATED © 1979 - 2 RECORD SET ARTIST: DONNA SUMMER TITLE: BAD GIRLS (INCLUDING SONGS... BAD GIRLS, HOT STUFF, DIM ALL THE LIGHTS AND MORE COVER SLEEVE - THIS RECORD HAS NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED. IT IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION. IT WAS PURCHASED WAY BACK IN 1979 AND THE ORIGINAL PRICE BOARD LETTER STICKER IS STILL SHOWN ON THE RECORD. Back during the days when this record was sold, many record stores used LETTERS on their price stickers that coordinated with a price guide which would have been on display in the store. You would find a record you liked and then match up the letter (in this instance it was FF) to the price guide for the actual cost of the album.
NOTE: THE CLEAR PLASTIC ORIGINAL PACKAGING DOES HAVE A FEW AREAS WHERE SOME OF THE PLASTIC HAS WORN AWAY IN THE CORNERS AND/OR BOTTOM WHICH I WOULD DESCRIBE AS NORMAL SHELF LIFE FROM BEING STORED. THIS RECORD WAS ACTUALLY IN OUR STEREO CABINET STORED WITH OTHER RECORDS IN OUR COLLECTION FOR YEARS INSIDE OUR HOME SO IT HAS BEEN WELL-CARED FOR FOR BEING ~45 YEARS OLD.
Also, I actually had two of this records in my collection. My Mom actually worked in the record department of a local department store and she always bought be records as a teenager. I actually had two of the same records.... one I played liked crazy, which I am holding onto and I had this one that I never opened all of these years.
PLEASE LOOK OVER VIDEO AND PHOTOS. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AN ORIGINAL 1979 ALBUM IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, NEVER OPENED AND NEVER PLAYED.
