Description
This auction is for a Set of 4 Different Vintage 1960s Beatles Candy Stick Empty Boxes in nice overall condition with some wear and crushing from age. John's green box is crushed more than the others at one end, Paul's orange box is crushed a little on one side and Ringo's blue box looks like it may have gotten damp or wet at some point in the past and has some bubbling of cardboard that should be visible in the scans below. Boxes include: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. I had sold a few other sets on Ebay last year found in the same estate, but this is the last set and this is the only set where Paul's box was orange instead of pink. This is a fairly recent estate find and are guranteed to be from the period. I have shown enlarged close-up scans to show detail, but please remember that any problems are enhanced this way and the boxes will look much better upon normal viewing. Boxes measure about 3/4" wide x 2 5/8" long x 3/8" thick. Words on boxes are as follows "YEAH YEAH CANDY ~ THE BEATLES ~ 2 BEATLE CANDY STICKS ~ MANUFACTURED BY WORLD CANDIES, INC., B'KLYN, N.Y." Also printed on the boxes are the original ingredients that were in the candy that was not found in these boxes and a contest description to win a free guitar every month.
