Description
We have a quantity of Tanner and MG, Peters, Drake-Chenault, etc. stereo broadcast releases on 1/4" tape spanning the late 1970s and most of the 1980s. Each weighs approx. 1.7 - 1.8 lbs.
Many of the reels have been in storage for a long time; the boxes may be dusty or show wear and tear.
Unless otherwise noted the reels are stored properly, wound to their original Tails Out specification, and include playlists. Some reels may have never been played.
This is Red Satin Rock Recurrents, with over 85 minutes of popular and rock programming from the early 1980s: Toto, Alan Parsons Project, John Cougar, and many more.
This particular box is rather stained and tattered on the outside, but the tape was well-preserved.
Some titles are penciled or lined out with marker by a prior (radio station) owner as they were not to be programmed or aired via this reel; they are (from top to bottom) "Run For the Roses" - Dan Fogelberg; "Play The Game Tonight" - Kansas; "Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me" - Juice Newton; "Any Day Now" - Ronnie Milsap; "Always On My Mind" - Willie Nelson; and "Crimson and Clover" by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
