Up for sale here is the Enigma Records reissue of The Effigies' first EP, 'Haunted Town'.
'Haunted Town' was the Chicago hardcore/post-hardcore group's first EP, issued on Evanston, Ill.- based Ruthless Records, which released lots of titles by Midwestern punk, hardcore and post-punk groups during the time that it existed. In 1984, after the Effigies released their first LP 'For Ever Grounded' on Enigma, Enigma re-released 'Haunted Town' with an extra track at the end, 'Security', which the band still plays live - when it gets back together to play.
There is little - if any - wear on the sleeve or the record itself. The sleeve has a little bit of wear on its edges, but nothing else. The record is in good shape with no scratches or marks that it didn't have when it left the record plant over 25 years ago.
