Description
Vintage Led Zeppelin vinyl Ballcrusher London 1972
From my personal collection, this was owned by my brother and was purchased new so it has not changed hands and been handled and played by many, or even often. He was extremely careful with his possessions and this late 1970's purchase has been very well preserved. I have included the note that he had with this record, as well as provided some insight available from other sources. With any of these records, everything is subjective from condition to audio quality to performance, etc. Please do your own diligence, see my pictures, ask for others if need be. The records are clean and excellent as far as I can see -- they do not photograph well. However, I do see a mark (does not look like a scratch) so I have included a separate photo of that mark on one side of the record. I love how they printed 1977 photos of Robert & Jimmy for the cover of a purported 1972 show which is actually from 1971! Good Grief!! But take a look below at the more thorough track listing than what actually appears on the record.
The next major bootleg label on the scene was the Amazing Kornyphone Record Label (TAKRL), a business that issued a ton of records though only a few of their titles were Zeppelin discs (supposedly the people behind the label weren't big Zeppelin fans). The label released three single Zep albums; "Ballcrusher", a reissue of an album by the same name from Flat Records and taken from the 1971 BBC concert", Live In England 1976", a reissue of the excellent European bootleg recorded at Earl's Court on May 24, 1975, and "Cellarful Of Noise", a poor recording from the performance at Osaka Festival Hall in Japan on September 29, 1971.
