Description
this is a collection of Remington long playing 33 1/3 records inside a antique wooden( appears to be maple but im no expert) locking box. there are 69 records they are each in clear plastic sleeves.There are many classical records and a few more modern in the back.They are all cataloged on a 2 file sheets one of which is glued to the inside of the top the other is inside the box glued to a folder.Both contain the same list Which i will just name the individual composers as there are several by each Beethoven,Bach,Bella Bartok,Bizet,Brahms,Chopin,Dvorak,Debussy,Franck,Goyescas,Grieg, Haydn,Liszt,Mendelssohn,Moussorgsky,Mozart,Rachmaninoff,Rimsky-Korsakoff, Schubert,Schumann,Tchaikovski,Wagner.There are Records that appear to be operas which are Ivan Petroff Arias,Rossini Barber of seville,Bizet Carmen,Verdi Rigoletto,Leoncavallo Pagliacci, Puccini La Boheme, Enesco Octet F, Albert Spalding Arias, Simon Barbere Liszts Sonata in B Minor There are about five more modern records like Ray Charles and others lastly there is a RCA Victor that reads pictures at a gallery.If any of you would like to know specific titles by the aformentioned artists please contact me and i will give a speedy response Over all this is a great collection of records most of which look as if they never touched a needle they will need some cleaning as they appear to have been stored for many years but that job will be relieved by the fact that they are all in plastic.this was an estate purchase and i have other items from the lot so check my other items otherwise good luck and happy bidding
