Description

"United States Air Force presents Country Music Time" LP and sleeve are in Very good condition. See photos. Item was an U.S. Air Force Recruiting Service record that went straight to radio stations. This is from a closed down radio station and has been in long term storage since. Sleeve has wearing on corners and a red ink mark on one side, and a small tear near the center on both sides. I do not own a player, so I cannot verify sound quality or playback capabilities.


This is a radio transcription disc from the series "Country Music Time", produced by the United States Air Force Recruiting Service.


These 12-inch, 33 ⅓ RPM records were not sold to the public. Instead, they were distributed directly to radio stations in the 1950s and 60s to broadcast 15-minute programs featuring music from top country acts alongside promotional spots for military recruitment.
