• All our vinyl titles are brand new, pristine, factory sealed (not just *sealed* which could be done out back with a sealing machine), stored in a climate controlled environment, and are inspected for any visible jacket damage by two different people before being shipped. In addition to other protections, our packaging includes an additional sealed bag protecting each LP from the environment.  Our packaging isn't bullet proof, but it's a whole lot better, with cross laminated double layer box bottoms for example, than the way most other companies ship vinyl. It costs us more but we respect our product!
  

• All our vinyl titles are premium brand new pressings sold for store sale and are never post-spec *seconds* sold to some mass merchants for internet sales to meet a price point. We scour the planet for these titles.
  
  
• US Recording never sells any product that's been handled by the public, as you will get from some media chains selling vinyl online from their various locations. US Recording is warehouse distribution only.
  
  
• We show our own photos, both front and back of actual copies of what you will be shipped, so there should be no question what you will be getting, stickers and all.  Note: These photos may not reflect the exact version some other retailers are shipping, however, so be careful when shopping, especially if they only show you a stock photo of company artwork. (There can be different versions and qualities even with the same UPC Code.)
  
   
  
• To return a still factory sealed record:   If your vinyl is still factory and USR sealed (we add another layer of protection), and undamaged, return it per EBAY Hassle Free returns rules and instructions, in the same boxes and packing you got it in for safe shipping. Do not use other retailer's packaging to return our product or it may get crushed and damaged and is a violation of Ebay's returns rules.  Note: No convenience returns accepted on unsealed vinyl titles.
  
  
• We guarantee all vinyl you buy from us does not have a manufacturing pressing defect.  If your vinyl turns out to have a manufacturing pressing defect, contact us through the Ebay message system (please do not bother to open a case for a return ) for a return authorization. We will refund your money upon receipt back of the defective copy, all shrink wrap and bags, UNUSED download cards/codes, posters and all other free items, in the original shipping boxes we used to ship it to you, and within the time frame of our return policy. 
  ALL RETURNS CLAIMED TO BE DEFECTIVE ARE INSPECTED!
  
  Things that are manufacturing pressing defects:
  1. Foreign objects from manufacturing molded into the grooves like pieces of the label
  2. Warpage from manufacturing
  3. Cracks in the vinyl
  4. Off center spindle hole
  
  Things that are not manufacturing pressing defects:
  1. Surface noise (if you don't like surface noise don't buy vinyl...)
  2. The way it was recorded in the studio (yes we had a claim over this on Dark Side of the Moon!)
  3. The songs are horrible  (know what you are buying. Just because you don't like the songs doesn't mean it had a manufacturing pressing defect).
  4. The vinyl is not exactly 180 grams when it's stated as 180 grams. This is a generic term used, it is not a guarantee the vinyl weighs exactly 180 grams. It could be a little less or a little more. (We had a claim over this already.)
  5. It doesn't sound the way you remember. Seriously... 
  6. The album skips on your turntable but not on another turntable. If an album is made so poorly that the grooves are not molded correctly, it will skip for all turntables, not just yours.  We've had a few vinyl titles come back that allegedly "skipped" but were perfectly beautiful pressings.   If it only skips on your turntable and not ours when we test it, your turntable has an issue, not the vinyl. Need a new stylus?  Members of our staff worked in Los Angeles doing disc mastering so we know something about the manufacturing process. 
  
   We also do not warrant any downloads, if you don't like the songs, free items, user damage, sound quality of the pressing, spelling errors, quality of the way it was recorded in the studio, liner notes, and anything to do with the jacket or sleeve. 
  
  
• US RECORDING cannot do replacements or swap out titles. If you are returning a truly defective item or returning something still USR and Factory sealed, you will get a refund.
  
• ALWAYS wet clean all new LPs before their first use to remove record sleeve dust and other particles from manufacturing. We recommend Lasermedia VNC-4  Vinyl Record Cleaner because it does the job well without harmful solvents.
