Description
180 Vinyl Record Collection.
Here is the rest of my vinyl record collection. I have sold most of it over the past month with the help of my son, who is far more computer savvy than me, but now that he has gone I am left a bit clueless on how to research each of these records. Some records can be worth a lot of money if you do your research on ebay and a website called www.popsike.com.
There are 180 records here and a small handful of singles too. They are mostly rock, folk and pop ranging over the past 5 decades from the Beach Boys to The Smiths! There are a few original Elvis records and Beach Boys records that belonged to my Father-in-Law which are really old! Most of the rock stuff is mine and the pop stuff is my wife's so I take no blame!
The condition of the records varies obviously from some looking well played to some looking unplayed like the Sergeant Peppers! The same goes with the cases which range from looking a little shabby to some still in the their plastic wrapping!
If you would like any detailed descriptions of any of the records I will try my best to help out, just get in touch.
There are some rather rare records here I believe especially the early Elvis records. One of the Jame Gang records is a promotional only copy also with a white circular label. This would have been sent to DJs etc before it came out! I don't know how I got it!
Artist in the collection include:
Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, James Gang, Elvis, Beach Boys, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, SteppenWolf, The Band, Saxon, Slade, The Smiths, Black Sabbath, Moody Blues, Beatles, Bill Wyman, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Kate Bush, Genesis etc
There is loads of great music here that should keeps your ears busy for years! I will be sad to see these go but also quite relieved that my house is vinyl free! I will be listing my hand made record cabinet soon too which holds around 500 records and my record player also!
The records are sold as seen of course and if you are local, feel free to get in touch to pop in and have a look through the records.
I would far prefer collection of the records for ease but I did post my first half of the collection and it came to £30 by a private courier so please ignore the £7 postage (I cant change it!)
That's it, If you have any questions please get in touch and all the best!
Happy Bidding!
