Description
The 1967 hippie classic by Donovan Leitch, "A Gift From A Flower To A Garden" -- in all its glorious packaging and presentation! Donovan's finest hour, in my opinion. Includes the gorgeous song "Wear Your Love Like Heaven".
This elaborate box is complete, in the condition as described here and as seen in the photos - please look at photos closely:
- all inserts, and the folder they come in are in NM condition.
- The box is in overall very good condition, with surface wear and some marker in top right corner. HOWEVER, the corners are cracked and the box has been taped along some seams and edges (see pics).
- Inner box area shows wear but is very good; everything readable and crisp, colors strong.
- Record 2, S1 is EX- with fine scratches,
- Record 2, S2 is EX- except that there is a half-inch scuff near the beginning of the last song. I played this song (visually graded the rest of these two albums) and then play-graded the rest of this side, and it plays through just fine, with no skips. However, there is a "click", sometimes light and sometimes more pronounced, in each revolution when the stylus goes over that area of the last song,
- Record 1, S1 is EX- with fine scratches,
- Record 1, S2 is also EX- with same,
- I should note that my play-grade of R2/S2 was very listenable, if you can set aside the clicks that occur because of the scuff on the last song. I'm guessing the balance of both records will be very listenable, as well.
