A trove of 23 must-haves, this 2LP-set includes their biggest hits--like the iconic "Blister in the Sun," "American Music," and "Gone Daddy Gone"--rare demos, B-sides, and interstitial voice recordings pressed at Memphis Records Pressing and cut by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. Formed in 1981, Violent Femmes' unique blend of punk, folk-rock, and teenage angst--plus a 1982 busking show with The Pretenders--quickly earned them a spot among America's underground. Beloved for their indie spirit and pop hooks, Add It Up documents the band's remarkable stylistic evolution and energetic live performances!
