continues the quest to clear out years
of accumulation from record collectors
in New Jersey. We offer the following:
From 1983, this is Violent Femmes with their self-titled
first release Violent Femmes.
Slash Records – 1-23845. 23845-1.
The album also features many of their well-known songs,
including "Blister in the Sun", "Kiss Off", "Add It Up"
and "Gone Daddy Gone".
With inner sleeve. This first pressing was with different label
artwork than the second pressing. First pressing is shown here
with the "two-tone" style label.
Jacket and inner sleeve are in VG condition with wear on spine
but there are no splits. The record is in VG condition
with a recurring noise ("scrunch-like") that can be heard
in quiet moments in the first 2 songs on both sides. I see no mark
on the record that is responsible. Maybe a pressing defect.
It is not present in the other songs.
Occasional minimal surface noise that is present
in quiet passages and song spaces.
Record has been cleaned.
