Nathan Milstein with Chamber Orchestra conducted by Milstein performs “Violin Concertos” in A Major (P 234 and P 236), C Minor (P 419), and C Major (P 88). An original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 7524), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border, and black stereophonic flash. Side one’s label has a “sample record” sticker. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has a ring.
This review record is a part of a collection that originally was either played a few times for review purposes, (or not at all) and stored carefully and unplayed over the following 40 years. View my other auctions for more superb early classical records.
