Description

Odessa Cowan (1916-1984) was an American female bandleader of an all-female band that flourished from 1934 to 1939. She made six sides -- two for Victor and four for Vocalion. "Wild Party" was recorded September 13, 1934 and "Witch Doctor" about ten days late on September 24. Comes in original Vocalion sleeve. A rare record. Condition E+.
