You are bidding on a rare 78rpm Vogue collectible picture record. Released in 1947 by Sav-way Industries, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. (R 786) Approximatively 74 titles were produced by the Company from May 1946 throught 1947 wich are hightly prized by collectors for their colorful designs. The short period of production explain in part the rarity. The records were produced by sandwitching the printed art work between a piece of aluminium and a clear vinyl coating and then stamped wih the record grooves. Nonetheless, the novelty wore off and the company were bankrupt a little over a year after introducing of the picture record. For this particular record two songs: "Boogie Woogie Yodel" sing by Kenny Robert and "Baby I found out all about you" sing by Bob Mason The two songs were perform by The Down Homers. The legend told that the young Bill Haley was among the performers on guitar on this particuliar recording. The two sides of the picture record still in remarkable condition with no chip and a very shinny colors. The, artwork of the record is beautiful. To tell you the growing interest about this rare pictures record collection, an important exposition took place in California University, in Santa Barbara, in 2000. Around 40 Vogue Records were exposed there and particularly a copy of this one. Good luck all bidders!
