Description
You are bidding on a Vogue Picture Record number R775 by Sonny Dunham and his Orchestra songs include Clementine (matrix #144-1A) / I Love You In The Daytime Too (matrix #143-1A). This is one of only three records made in the two-tone variety. The brown and white version is the hardest one to get of the three. These records were made by Sav Way industries of Detroit Michigan in 1946 and 1947 for only those two years. A very unique process was used starting with a metal plate, picture placed on top, vinyl poured, and grooves cut. Making these records nearly unbreakable. This one is in very good condition with minor marks, no chips but has a 1” crack at edge and is over 70 years old. Thanks for looking and bidding.
