- Very hard to find 1956 original LP “Vox Humana” (Folkways FX 6123, with 6 page insert) described as “Alfred Wolfsohn’s experimental extension of the human vocal range”.
- This unusual album, recorded in England, was released as part of Folkways science series of LPs.
- Tracks (16 in all) include: Four And Five Octave Leaps/Double & Multiple Stopping By The Voice/Demonstrations Of Different Colorations Of The Same Notes/Nine Octaves/Four & Five Octave Leaps On The Word “Viola”/String Quartet For Four Female Voices/Voice Versus Instruments (viola, cello, violin, flute) and more.
- The LP is visually near mint . It plays with some surface noise but nothing that distracts. The textured cover has no splits, tears writing or cutouts and shows just light wear. The 6 page insert is near mint.
