Wade Mainer was the the "Grandfather of Bluegrass".
His style was based on Mountain Music and he founded a band called Sons of the Mountaineers in 1939.
His Bluebird/Victor contract started in late 1935 so this is a very early recording of his.
All records purchased from me are cleaned with the VPI professional Record Washing System
before they are graded.
