Description
Special Boxed Set containing for London Box Sets of Wagner plus a book. The 4 individual boxed sets are housed in another stiff box. The other protective box is dusty (dusted if off mostly) with light corner and edge wear, but it is sturdy with no markings. ALL LPS LOOK UNPLAYED - NO SCRATCHES SEEN AND RATING THEM NM. All LPs stored in original London plastic-lined inner sleeves. There are four catalogs within the boxes on "Opera on London and Richmond" (Richmond is a London subsidiary). The four boxed sets are:
Gotterdammerung London OSA 1604, Booklet plus two "Opera 6 LPs Siegfried London OSA 1508, Booklet 5 LPs Das Rheingold OSA 1309, Booklet 3 LPs Die Walkure OSA 1509, Booklet 5 LPs
The book is, Ring Resounding by John Culshaw, Viking Press, 5th Printing in 1972. Within the book was a single sheet, "Family Tree". The book also in excellent shape with a tiny amount of edge wear on jacket, price intact, 376 clean and solidly bound pages.
