This is the Historic first Modern recording of Richard Wagner's Massive Ring Cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen" .  Sir Georg Solti directs the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.  Released over the span of 1958 to 1965 On Decca's London FFR label for sale in USA.  This a who's who of Wagnerian performers.  When My Wife and I started dating and we discovered we both owned the exact same edition of the Ring.  We are moving soon and can't keep them both despite our sentimental desire to.
       I will describe the condition of the set in general  and make notes of the individual faults for each Opera Record set. 
        This set is used but only lightly.   So probably played no more that five to ten times each according to my wife.  I examined each individual record of every set to insure making an honest representation of its condition.  I attest every record is in every set.  I am not a professional record grader but a lifelong vinyl lover and possessor of a massive collection.  I have bought many used records in my day for myself.  My turntable is in storage right now so I can not attest to the playing quality.
     I would call the condition overall a Good! Unless noted by set, all records are free of any major scratches.  There are dust scratches and some of that drop turntable light scuffing.  The records do have some light dust and some have a pattern I believe comes from the plastic liner of individual sleeves. I tried a closeup of a typical record.  The light makes it a little hard to tell but gives a fair representation of what to expect . There some finger prints but overall I would call them good and would not hesitate to buy them for myself at this price. I believe they would clean easily with a standard record cleaning brush and solution.  Are they audiophile qualitity? Probably not.  Will they play well for semi serious or casual listening? No Doubt.  All booklets for each opera are very clean and included.
    The main box case is damaged.  I would call it poor to fair.  It still does its job fine, holding the records well but one seam on the title end is split and the front end has the cover paper torn.  See photos for details.  Happy to send more fotos.
      The opera boxes themselves are clean and nice looking .  One paper hinge has broken but it actually makes it easier to open and extract the records.  Others are likely to fail as it is 40 years old.

Das Rheingold. good+ box (case),  one scratch on side three it will definitely be audible but don't think it will skip but without a turntable...
Die Walkuere good case, some spots plus one scratch on side 5 don't think it will skip.
Siegfried good plus case but hinge is split and separated.  All records as described above with no visible major scratches.
Goetterdaemmerung - Case good+,  records no visible major scratches.
Included is a pristine copy of John Culshaw well written story of these historic recordings "Ring Resounding"  It's fascinating to read what they were able to accomplish  and how they did it.  Epic.

   I estimated the shipping charge to be twelve dollars for shipping through media Mail but I don't have a scale  When I go to the Post Office if shipping is less (which I doubt) I will refund you the difference.
