Description
Original 1978 Limited Edition Sheffield Lab audiophile LP -- WAGNER - Die Walkure: Ride of the Valkyries / Tristan und Isolde: Prelude to Act I / Gotterdammerung: Siegfried's Funeral Music / Siegfried: Forest Murmurs - Erich Leinsdorf conducting the Los Angeles Philharnonic -- 1978 Sheffield Lab USA (pressed in Germany) -- Lab-7. Complete unedited performance, recorded direct-to-disc by Sheffield Lab. Listed by TAS (The Absolute Sound) as a recording of significant sonic value. Vinyl LP in excellent condition -- close to near mint -- just a couple of tiny surface marks. Gatefold jacket/sleeve is in fair condition -- seam and edge splits along the top right sides on both pockets have been repaired using transparent tape. There is a small seam split at the bottom edge of the pocket where the LP is normally housed. Moderate ring wear, heavy edge and corner wear, including indentation marks, along with some tiny scuffs and blemishes. Includes original 10-page program insert (see photo).
