Per il resto soltanto un lieve accenno di ring wear; grande stato, EX+ / il vinile ha pochi segni minori che tuttavia condizionano l'ascolto in alcune tracce con qualche modesto clicchettio; bello stato, EX

Condition : flipback cover is laminated on both sides. We can see some moderate lamination lift along the edge of the left front side in its upper part. For the rest only a light hint of ring wear, EX+ / vinyl has a few minor scuffs however affecting the listen with some moderate clicks in two, three tracks, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : il disco ha una durata totale di circa 47 minuti ma i brani sono soltanto sei. Teoricamente potevano essere anche diciotto come accadeva per molte colonne sonore italiane di spaghetti western. Waldo de los Rios ha voluto dare una continuità sonora alle vicende drammatiche, avventurose e violente del film optando così per brani piuttosto lunghi. Certamente all'interno di ciascuno ci sono molte alternanze tra le tipologie sonore. Si passa infatti a temi cupi e lenti a intensi ritmi accompagnati dai canti del coro, a temi romantici così come nel campo degli strumenti musicali nella stessa traccia troviamo la chitarra acustica, varie percussioni, fiati e sezione d'archi talvolta agendo insieme talvolta come solisti. Mi piace ricordare "El Amor" (a2) che inizia con il suono della chitarra acustica poi arriva l'orchestra con vocalizzi femminili in sottofondo, nuovamente ritorna la chitarra che in seguito accompagna una dolce ballata di un interprete maschile. C'è da far girar la testa! Quanto ora ho detto aiuta pure ad una migliore comprensione circa la tendenza di tutti i brani, naturalmente con soluzioni e sonorità differenti. Vale la pena ascoltarlo.

Notes : this LP has a total length of about 47 minutes, but its tracks are only six. Theoretically they could also be eighteen as happened to many soundtracks of Italian spaghetti westerns. Waldo de los Rios wanted to give continuity to the dramatic, adventurous and violent events of the film so opting for rather long tracks. Certainly within each one there are many alternations of sound genres. You pass from dark and slow themes to intense rhythms accompanied by the singing of chorus and to romantic themes as well as in the field of musical instruments in the same track we find the acoustic guitar, various percussion and wind instruments, a string section, sometimes by acting together sometimes as soloists. I like to mention "El Amor" (a2) that starts with the sound of the acoustic guitar, then comes the orchestra with female wordless vocalizations in the background, again the guitar which comes back and later accompanies a sweet ballad of a male performer. There is is to make my head spin! What I said now also helps for a better comprehension of the tendency of all the tracks, of course, with solutions and different sonorities. It is worth listening.
