Description
Live: Take No Prisoners is a 1978 live album by American musician Lou Reed, recorded during May 1978 at The Bottom Line in New York. The album contains copious, often profane or non-sequitur stage patter by Reed during and between songs, including a detailed story of the origin of "Walk on the Wild Side".
Perhaps realizing that radio stations would not be able to play it, Arista put out this 3 song promo: SPECIALLY PREPARED FOR RADIO AIRPLAY From Lou Reed’s “TAKE NO PRISONERS”.

THIS COPY is an original pressing from 1978, Arista SP-36 (See Notes, below). The vinyl has one mark near the beginning of side one, but it doesn't affect playback. Other than that, there are what appear to be rubbings from the inner sleeve - again, nothing that affects playback. The vinyl is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition. The original plain cover with front Sticker (see photos) is also in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition, with only the spot where a price tag once lived in the upper left corner on the front and a slight ding towards the bottom of the record opening. The original plain inner sleeve with center hole shows light browning from age, but is otherwise in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition, with no splits, tears, writing, stains, etc., etc.
One warning: From what I can tell, the "prepared for radio play" part was accomplished by literally "beep"-ing out Lou's more colorful language. And in the 16:53 min version of "Walk On The Wild Side", Lou (R.I.P.) can be pretty colorful. ;-)
