Description
Walpurgis: "Queen Of Saba" 1972, Germany/Ohr OMM 556 023. Disc is in beautiful EX to M- shape with just a few sleeve impressions on side two that don't sound. gatefold cover has a "Made In Germany" sticker on the front, really nice, it gets a M- grade. No "Pop Import" logo on this thing anywhere, it's a near mint original! Rare Krautrock item opens with a Southern Rock-sounding track, like these guys must have been dosing on Derek & The Dominos before recording this. It sounds like a cross between "Freebird" and "Bell-Bottom Blues"! But fear not, things get a lot spacier as it progresses. Awesome keyboards by the woefully unheralded Jürgen Dollase who played all the best stuff on the Tarot Box a few months later. Best example of this one I've ever seen!
