For sale is the WALT HARPER QUINTET's "Harper's Ferry," on Gateway Records GLP-7005, Mono, 1964.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is terrific, very clean and solid. Only very light, infrequent surface noise of any kind. A brilliant playback.
VINYL: VG+ or better Conservative grade. The vinyl is beautiful, with only very faint hairline scuff or marks. Completely retune, superficial. The labels are nice, with a few faint spindle marks.
JACKET: VG+ or better Partially split bottom. Otherwise very nice condition all-around. Minor, routine shelf-wear. Promo stamp on back and catalogue sticker upper left front.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
