I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A LARGE COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL LABEL 1950s AND EARLY 1960s ROCKABILLY, BLUES, AND R&B 45s, INCLUDING SOME HIGH END ITEMS - I'LL BE LISTING ITEMS FROM THIS COLLECTION OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1960 MASCOT RECORDS U.S. 45 containing the Northern Soul favorite titled 'Uncle Sam' backed with 'I Worship The Ground You Walk On' from Walter Rhodes.  It is Mascot Records catalog number 45-M-129, styrene pressing with white labels.  Both sides of this 45 can be heard on You Tube.  Visual condition of record is VG with a moderate mount of visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and one surface scratch on the B-side which can be felt and which may cause a few very slight ticks.  Styrene pressing plays well with none of the distortion that commonly shows up on worn styrene pressings, with the possible exception of maybe a half second of what may be a very light and non-distracting cue burn at the very beginning of the A-side.
