Description
The only two things l will note to take this copy off Near Mint would be the 45 rpm side B label shows small label loss, and signs of storage on the box side seams and corners. No splits or repairs. This wear on the box is more often worse on others l have seen on eBay as it was not laminated. The only thing l did not think of at the time was to remove the limited edition number from the shrink wrap and stick onto the box.
ALL COMPLETE with the book (often lost) and the large poster that has never been displayed. Both are as new with the book binding is excellent but this copy is as expected showing slight page browning due to the typical lower quality paper used in paperbacks of the time. This version of the H. G. Wells book was a tie in with the record and was in itself a limited run with the identical artwork.
The poster is in near mint condition and no fading or blue tac marks, as it was always kept in the box for all of its life. No foxing or creasing on poster or book or any of the artwork.
The double record is the identical version with booklet as with the original foldout album. Matrix numbers are side 1 A3. 2 B2. 3 A2. 4 B2 as expected and quite common for a later timed release in the box set.
12” single is A1/B1. I know l only played this one once as l was never into the disco mixes.
Carefully stored away all these years under no garage or attic locations within my homes. This was not extensively played as l had the original album in my collection more easily at hand.
Will be well protected in the post as l have suitable reinforced mailers from international buys l have made on hand. That’s why l have gone for the heavier posting option. It will be sent by Royal Mail….. l never ever use EVRI, EVER!
