WARM DUST - AND IT CAME TO PASS
TREND LABEL 1970 FIRST UK PRESSING DOUBLE ALBUM WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION.
TNLS 700
Released in 1970 on the TREND label, I am offering today this original first UK pressing of this progressive rock debut double album by WARM DUST which is titled "AND IT CAME TO PASS". The vinyl is is in very clean excellent condition and plays with great audio. Not an easy album to find as a UK original.
The album comes complete with its original Garrod & Lofthouse printed matt gatefold sleeve which apart from a large sticker tear on the front panel which is very common with this album as it was released with a large price sticker. Otherwise this is in reasonably clean condition with no unwanted writing or splits etc and the wide spine is fully legible .
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually & audibly is in excellent condition. I have just played it through and can state that the album plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse printed matt gatefold sleeve is in clean condition. No splits or or unwanted writing etc but has a sticker removal tear on the front which is very common with this album. The wide spine is fully legible.
The LABELS, The Trend labels are clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing etc but two of the labels have a circular sticker residue mark.
The INNERS, The generic white inner sleeves are both reasonably clean and free from unwanted writing etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
THIS RECORD WAS PLAY TESTED ON A LINN AXIS THROUGH A MUSIC FIDELITY AMP
I always aim to be as accurate as possible with my grading. If in doubt, I tend to err on the side of caution - believing it better to have a customer who is pleasantly surprised than a customer who is mildly disappointed. As a collector myself, I know how annoying and frustrating it is to discover a seller was over generous in their description of an item.
I won't insult your intelligence by writing out song lyrics. Nor will I include a detailed synopsis (pasted verbatim from Wikipedia) about the band and how they met. I will, however, always include photographs that highlight any flaws I have described. Nothing will be a surprise. If, after all this, you feel the item is not what you expected, for whatever reason, I am happy to refund you in full providing the item is returned to me in a timely fashion in the same condition it left me. Return postage will be covered by the buyer.
SYSTEM USED: DUE TO THE LACK OF TIME NOT ALL RECORDS CAN BE PLAY TESTED BUT THOSE THAT ARE, ARE PLAY TESTED ON A LINN AXIS THROUGH A MUSIC FIDELITY AMP.
