Description

This is W.A.S.P. ‘s original 1984 debut album. These guys were the pinnacle of shock rock in the mid 1980’s (while Alice Cooper remains king, he was trying to figure out who he was during that decade, experimenting with different sounds and genres). They never amounted to any major/mainstream success on this album but still managed to receive a gold certification by the RIAA (although not during its decade of release but the following). The band still had a great following during the MTV era heyday though. With hits in the charts, W.A.S.P. aimed to put music videos on the station. Videos were produced for “L.O.V.E. Machine”, “I Wanna Be Somebody” and “School Daze”, the band landed in #74 on Billboard 200.

The item is still sealed but as stated, the cover/jacket has been damaged. How and by what I’m not sure, it was just listed, bought and received like this. Keep in mind, the item is still completely sealed with an entirely legible and straight spine, front and back. Damages include: creases/wrinkles/bends. No other damages. The item still looks pretty good overall. If I grade it conservatively I’d say the jacket is either VG or VG-. There are no promo: corner cuts, hole punches, drill holes or saw cuts. Perfect for the fellow W.A.S.P. fan. Will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.
