Description

Hi there. Up for sale is this original Australian 1st pressing of W.A.S.P's self titled 1984 LP on Capitol Records. This is the edition with 'We are sexual perverts' inscribed on the deadwax and manufactured with EMI's legendary 'Maxicut' process for big, bombastic sound. These original pressings are getting more difficult to find as the years go by. Condition is as follows: Cover: VG+ There are some light marks present along the edges and the corners are a little dull, but there are no creases, ring wear, tears or writing. Inner sleeve NM Great coloration and no tears or splits. Vinyl Visual VG Lots of scuffing present, mainly from the sleeve I think. Vinyl Playback NM Despite appearance of vinyl, the sonics are superb - as nice as the day the record was pressed. It is a real treat to listen to with no skips or pops evident. Labels NM Still has plenty of color with no wrinkles, marks or handwriting. Please note I have tried to be as accurate as possible in the description of this item. I have owned this record for over 30 years and am only selling due to the acquisition of an upgrade copy with a NM cover. All my records are posted in record mailing cartons with the vinyl stored external to the cover for better transport. Thanks for looking.
