ORIGINAL U.S. ISSUE FIRST PRESSING SEALED LP.   A MUST HAVE FOR A COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY ON OL' WAYLON.

WAYLON recorded the tracks on this LP for A&M Records owned by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss in 1963.  The music was labeled "FOLK" and did not do well commercially.  The tracks were compiled into an album release in 1970 in order to captilized on Waylon's success at RCA where he had signed in 1966.  Waylon once said in an interview that neither Alpert nor Moss knew what to do with him and that they heard him as a POP artist and saw him as an Al Martino style singer.  iT'S A GOOD THING FOR MUSIC THAT IT TURNED OUT TO NOT BE SO.

IT IS WIDELY ACCEPTED THAT A SEALED LP IS UNPLAYED AND IN MINT CONDITION AND I BELIEVE THIS TO BE ONE.  THE ALBUM IS IN NEAR MINT (I really don't like to use mint.  These LP's are 35-45 years old and they all spent time in a record bin somewhere along the way) CONDITION WITH NO PUNCHOUTS, CUTOUTS, SAWCUTS.  CELLO WRAP IS FULLY INTACT.
