Description
WAYNE MARSHALL & THE OFFBEAT POSSE - Give Me The Mix / Mike In My Hand (Jah Tubbys JT013) - 12" - 1985
Beautifully presented original pressing of this highly sought-after Jah Tubbys 12" featuring Wayne Marshall & The Offbeat Posse's back-to-back dancehall killers Give Me The Mix and Mike In My Hand, both of which are accompanied by their versions. The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a few ultra-light superficial surface marks - nothing significant.
A-side: There is just a tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks plus six more prominent pressing pops on the dub. In addition, there are approximately eight very brief, faint hissy clicks midway through the vocal cut caused by the remnants of a small stain. All the visible residue has washed off and the clicks have improved with each subsequent play, so a deep clean of the grooves should rectify this. Grade - EX-B-side: There is just a tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks. Grade - EX-/EX
Labels: There is a name written in blue biro on both labels (see scan).
*** More Roots, Dub and Dancehall 7" & 12" singles and LPs will be listed daily over the next few months ***
