Title: Wolfgang Dauner - Output

Original german pressing from 1970 on ECM,1006,first pressing without LC-code and with “records” written beneath ECM on the label.

Line-up:Wolfgang Dauner/Piano, Ringmodulator, Hohner Electra-Clavinet C - Fred Braceful/Percussion, Voice - Eberhard Weber/Bass, Cello, Guitar .

Tracks: Mudations 5:45 – Output 7:42 – Bruch 4:15 - Nothing to declare 10:40 – Abraxas 4:24 -  Brazing the high sky full 4 :25.

Recorded on Sept 15. and Oct.1. in 1970,just a few weeks before the first Et Cetera record on GLOBAL was recorded(Dec.10.-12.1970),and it’s pretty much in the same vein,just with a smaller line-up:weird compositions,rhythms alternating between monotonous grooves and free-form outbursts,incredible distorted and ringmodulated clavinet-sounds,arabic scales,Weber plays his cello from romantic bowed parts to solistic freak-outs.Stylisticly,the record is a real fusion of avantgarde,free-(kraut)rock,noise,jazz and more.For sure the sickest and best release on ECM,wich at that time still deserved it’s name “Edition of Contemporary Music”.Real unique album,highly recommended!

Condition:the record looks and plays in mint-.The fully laminated cover has a nice front & back,the seams/spine are intact without rub,the lamination has popped up a bit at one small part at the opening on the back,would be ex+,but the grading is lowered by a name and a date written in thin & small letters:1.on one label(very hard to see:you can see this only a bit on the dark label,only if the lights shines on it in a certain angle) and 2.inside the cover,where the record is stored,not visible from the outside.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
