POLYDOR 2383 024 - UK

Rare original copy of the third and arguably best album by WEB, British brass-prog band, released by Polydor in 1970.

COVER - The non-laminated gatefold cover has age wear, especially on the left seam, with the side titles only partly readable. A small top seam repair can be seen from the inside, but it appears well made.
Overall grading between VG and VG+.

INNER - Standard white sleeve with centre hole.

VINYL - Shows superficial marks on both sides, and has lost its original shine, but there are no deep marks. The record plays with background noise especially in the queitest parts and the odd click here and there. Graded VG.
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

LABELS - Original red Polydor labels, in perfect condition with no tears or writings.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE'S GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. 

FAIR:The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

Please notice that I don't use Mint but NEAR MINT (which is very close but refers to a secondhand used record) except for Sealed/Brand New/Unplayed records, and I don't sell Poor or unplayable records. I try to be as honest as possible when grading records, but a mistake can be made from time to time.

COPERTINA - La copertina apribile ha segni di usura, in particolare sul lato sinistro, dove il titolo e i dati del disco sono solo in parte leggibili.  Si nota una riparazione dall'interno sul lato superiore, ma è ben fatta e non particolarmente evidente.
Valutazione complessiva tra il VG e il VG+ 

BUSTA INTERNA - Busta generica bianca con foro centrale.

VINILE - Presenta vari graffi superficiali su entrambi i lati, ma nessun graffio profondo o difetto grave. Suona con rumore di fondo in particolare nelle parti a basso volume e qualche clic di tanto in tanto. Valutazione VG.
Disco ascoltato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5gr.
